Wall Letters - I made them myself

For a long time now I am longing for wall letters. Those great ones decorated with beautiful papers, embellishments and ribbons.
So instead of spending lots of money I decided to create them on my own.
I think that my wall letters are going to be a great addition to my scrap room.
Unpainted wooden wall letters are quite expensive so I made mine from foam core boards.
Using my Photoshop I chose a bold serif font and enlarged it and then printed each letter on an A4 page - creating the word CREATE.
With some carbon paper I traced the letters thus transferring it to the foam core and using my cutting knife I cut out the letters.

I can't wait to get home to decorate them.

Cards for Passover

Hi guys,
I made some fun "Happy Holiday" cards for a sale (on April 10th).
Most of the papers I used this time were Basic Grey, I love these papers and it was about time I used them.
Some Prima flowers, some ribbons, Eyelets & Brads... and Voila... 7 cards are ready.
My new room is definitely inspiring !!
Limor - thanks for the "Sweet Bird" stamp !!! She is very very sweet, I love her (The bird & Limor of course) !!

My studio - Never ending story.... LOL

שבוע שעבר ירדתי להדר (אנחנו מחיפה) עם אמא שלי לחפש בד לוילון לחדר העבודה החדש שלי. חיטטתי דקות ארוכות עד שגיליתי בד עדין שקוף לבנבן עם פסים לבנים דקים והחלטתי שזה יהיה הבד של הוילון החדש שלי.
קניתי פס מתכווץ, מוט עדין ו- 10 קליפסים על חישוקים. נסענו הביתה ובמקום לתת לאמא שלי את הבד (כרגיל) כדי לתפור, החלטתי שאעשה זאת לבד. חחחחחחח
שלשום, אספתי את אמא שלי וביקשתי שתבוא לעזור לי. סימנו, קיפלנו, חתכנו (אמא חתכה) ולא היה לי ברור בכלל איך רציתי לעשות את כל זה לבד, היה ברור שלעבודה כזו צריך 2 זוגות ידיים ולא אחד.
בכל אופן התיישבתי לתפור בהנחייתה של אמא שלי אבל תוך שניות הבנתי שאם אני אעשה את ז, זה יצא הוילון הכי עקום בעולם. אז אמא שלי התיישבה ליד המכונה שלי והחלה לתפור. אני כמובן עודדתי אותה מהצד. טוב, חלק אני באמת תפרתי, אבל חלק ממש ממש קטן, הריי לי זה יצא נורא עקום.

אתמול גייסתי את ירון שיתלה לי את המוט של הוילון ואת הטלויזיה החמודה שקנינו. החדר נראה עכשיו הרבה יותר מושלם.
אבל....
יש עוד כל כך הרבה דברים שאני ממש לא יודעת איפה למקם ... מי אמר שלעבור חדר היה רעיון טוב. מתה על החדר החדש שלי !!!! ומתה כבר לעשות דברים יצירתיים ולא רק לסדר כל הזמן.

Last week I went to a fabric store with my mother, to try and find a pretty fabric to sew a new curtain for my new studio. After digging for a while I found a delicate and transparent white material with thin white stripes. I decided that this would be my new curtain.
I bought all the accessories and went home. Instead of giving Mummy the material and accessories (as I usually do) I took them home and decided to try sewing the curtain on my own. LOL
A couple of days ago I brought my mum over and asked for help. While doing the work I understood that it’s a 2 person's job. How did I ever think I could do this on my own? My mum sew almost the whole curtain, I sewed only a little.
Yesterday, Hubby helped me put the curtain up, and our small TV too.
Now it looks much closer to being my room. I love watching TV when I work.
And the curtain came out beautiful!! (Well, the stitches came out strait because most of the work was done by my mum)
